• A doctor diagnoses and treats. A nutritionist prescribes dietary plans. A health coach helps you figure out what changes are realistic for your life and supports you in making them stick. We don't replace your medical team — we complement it.

  • Not at all. Some people come in with a clear goal, others just know they want to feel better. Either is fine. Part of our early work together is figuring out where to start.

  • We talk and look at what's working, what isn't, and what next small steps make the most sense for your life. Sessions are conversational, not prescriptive — there's no lecture or homework list.

  • Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes. We'll meet regularly — either a 6 or 12 session package spaced in a way that keeps you moving forward without overwhelming you. Clients typically find meeting every 2 - 3 weeks is a good pace.

  • Sessions are held virtually, so you can work with me from anywhere. All you need is a reliable internet connection.

  • Google gives you information. Coaching gives you a thinking partner who knows your situation, your obstacles, and your life. The internet has no shortage of advice — the hard part is figuring out what applies to you and actually doing it.

  • That's actually one of the most common things I hear. If anything, it means you have a lot of useful information about what doesn't work for you — and that's a solid place to start.

  • If you're tired of spinning your wheels and open to trying something different, you're ready. You don't need to be motivated, organized, or have it together. You just need to be willing.

  • Health coaching is not medical advice, therapy, or a substitute for working with your doctor. I won't diagnose, treat, or prescribe. What I will do is support you in making sustainable lifestyle changes and encourage you to loop in the right professionals when needed.
